Workshop Overview

Combine drumming and dance for a day of culture rhythm and dance. Our African drumming specialist will work with one group whilst the dancer works with another. You can choose from the two options below:

All Carnival Day activities will require 2 rooms for the day

Workshop Option 2

As a full day this option provides excellent value for money by enabling up to 12 groups of up to 30 pupils to each undertake a 45 minute dance and/or drumming workshop. The option is also available as a half day and can accommodate up to 8 groups.

Group Info

Full day: 2 workshop leaders will take up to 6 groups each per day
(up to 2x6 groups)

Half day: 2 workshop leaders will take up to 4 groups each per day
(up to 2x4 groups)

Suitability: All Key Stages

Maximum group size: 30

What we need from you

• CD Player
• 2 halls/gym/dance studio
• One of the 2 rooms to have chairs/benches that can be arranged in a semi-circle
• Minimum 45 minute lunch break for workshop leaders
