Workshop Overview

Combine drumming and dance for a day of culture rhythm and dance. Our African drumming specialist will work with one group whilst the dancer works with another. You can choose from the two options below:

All Carnival Day activities will require 2 rooms for the day

Workshop Option 1

Fill your school with music and dance with this full day session, tailored to suit all ages and abilities. This focused day of activities for two groups of up to 30 pupils, culminating in a performance for the whole school or parents.

Pupils spend a full day in workshops and rehearsals, gaining an in-depth knowledge of both dance and drumming, before coming together for an end of day performance.

What we need from you

• CD Player
• 2 halls/gym/dance studio
• One of the 2 rooms to have chairs/benches that can be arranged in a semi-circle
• Minimum 45 minute lunch break for workshop leaders
